Mr. Darcy's Promise: A Pride & Prejudice Varriation

This is the first book by Jeanna Ellsworth that I have read and I really enjoyed this story. I loved seeing how Elizabeth and Darcy bonded over feeding chickens at Pemberley and spending time in his library as well as all the playful teasing throughout the story as their relationship evolved. Richard was also a fun character that occasionally came around although he wasn't in the story a lot. Elizabeth's relationship with the some of the staff also fun to read about, especially her maid Seraphina. I also like the fact that Mr. Collins and Lady Catherine were not in this story to create any extra problems. I look forward to reading more by this author in the future.
