Moving to the Back Seat: Living Life as God Intended

Several years ago, I was introduced to a poem called The Bike Ride. The poem describes our Christian Life as a Bike Ride, on a tandem bike, you and God. As we start our Christian ride, we steer from the front and God pedals from the back. At some point, you decide to switch places. Your life gets so exciting when you allow God to steer. He takes you to places that you would have never gone if you would have stayed on the front seat. I share a short summary of my Christian Life - my journey with me steering from the front and later, after I had moved to the back seat. I share real life examples of the flat tires and mud puddles that I encountered while I was upfront. I then share the places God has taken me when I took a back seat and allowed him to steer.The next two sections of the book are called TEN QUESTIONS and TEN STEPS. Many Christians call Jesus, Lord and Master, but have never moved to the back seat and let God truly lead them where he wants them to go. TEN QUESTIONS challenges the reader to evaluate their relationship with God. Are you really serving God on a daily basis? Have you really given your life to God? TEN STEPS provides practical advice that will help us live this life as God intended. To live the best life possible on this earth. A life that allows God to use us each and every day.
