Moving Into Life: A Passover Haggadah for All Faiths

Passover is one of the most important holidays for both Jews and Christians. This Haggadah is a guidebook for participating in a Seder that invites participants from any faith to explore freedom as an act of grace, and inner transformation. Primarily in English with some Hebrew transliteration of prayers, this allows those who practice Judaism to explore the evolution of the Passover story, and for those who follow other faiths to understand why this holiday and meal is critical to actively participating in the transformative power of faith.

For Christian participants this Seder is an attempt to bring together the importance of the Passover story as part of the Jewish identity that is integral to understanding grace as taught by Jesus. To be fully Christian, that is a "little christ" following The Way of Jesus we must understand Jesus as a Jewish man seeking liberation, salvation, and connection to God for the people he sought to serve.

This Haggadah is appropriate to use with a "traditional seder" though it introduces more expansive scripture, and can be used for Maundy Thursday services or Christian participation in Holy Week. Though of course anyone, from any faith is invited to share this story.
