These meditations were written with the concept of "putting yourself into" the Scripture verse. In other words, put yourself in the scene and "make a movie." Get into the setting of the scripture verse. Look around. See what's happening. Ask yourself, "What is the importance of this message for me?" Jump in the boat with Jesus and His disciples. Help carry and lower the paralytic through an opening in the roof. Join the heavenly host singing praises to God. Become David, Jonah, Isaiah, Paul of Tarsus and discern their inner spirit and heart. Witness Jesus carrying His cross through the streets of Jerusalem. Be convinced that you are the one Jesus is calling. Picture yourself at the table with tax collectors, gossipers, petty thieves, scammers, drug dealers, vandals, liars and cheats and listen to the chatter.
