Mountains breed Heroes

Tarik, a young lawyer, leaves his home and work in Casablanca to spend a holiday in his original family home in the High Atlas Mountains, south of Marrakech.
Tarik attends his young sister's wedding. The ceremony respects ancient traditions and rituals. His older brother, a mountain guide, whose wife is pregnant, may have been a fatal casualty when a 4x4 plunges into a deep gully. Furthermore, the disappearance of the deceased grandfather's resistance medal is a mystery.
The father of Tarik's friend suspects foul play by the local administrator. Tarik skilfully tackles and exposes the wrong doings. He is celebrated as a local hero. The local Member of Parliament is also put on the spot over unfulfilled promises for a bridge over the river.
A devastating flood hits the village. A young boy is trapped in a ground floor room of a hotel, and the room is filling up with water. Tarik's young brother rescues the boy, and, in turn, is awarded two scholarships - He alone can choose the other recipient. Astonishment fills the family members when his decision is announced. Despite all the drama, Tarik finds the time to experience some exciting moments with friends in and around a cave with an interesting historical background high up in the mountains.
