Fantasy Genre

This title is an easy-to-read work of Fantasy, yet the plot contains some intricate twists and turns that held my interest until the ending. The firecracker relationship between the strong warrior woman, Janara, and the barbarian chieftain, Tomask, would have been enough to keep things exciting, but adding the "mischievous gods who meddle in human lives" and the importance of the mission these early humans are on shows the talent of the author. I'd recommend this book to readers who enjoy this genre, but the story is not limited to fans of Fantasy. It's a plot filled with characters any reader could enjoy.
