Mount Pleasant Cemetery is located in the northwest corner of Edmonson County, Kentucky near the borders of Grayson and Butler counties. The cemetery is adjacent to Mt. Pleasant Cumberland Presbyterian Church. The surrounding area is known as Big Reedy. My goals for this book, driven by forty plus years of genealogy research, were three. Foremost was to record information for posterity before the ravages of time erased them forever. Second was to provide a genealogy record for future genealogists researching their family tree. Third was to provide an exact grave location within Mount Pleasant Cemetery to assist in locating the graves of those buried there.
