The mystery opened a path into the perception of extraordinary places.
Being born in Quito-a city cradled between volcanoes and valleys-shaped my relationship with nature from a very early age. Surrounded by towering mountains and endless skies, I learned to walk, observe, and listen to the land..Hiking and camping became my way of entering a world that my soul could barely grasp-a space beyond the ordinary, where silence speaks and time slows down. Years ago, my first photography books were dedicated to the mountains of Ecuador and the landscapes that defined my journey. Since then, I have continued searching for new ways to share these places and the emotions they awaken. In this new edition, I wanted to create a book that goes beyond images alone-a visual journey accompanied by timeless quotes and reflections meant to inspire, pause, and reconnect. This book is an invitation to walk slowly, to look deeply, and to remember that the most powerful journeys are often the ones that lead us inward.
