Motivated by God's Love to Forgive

Why forgive? Why is it so important to release forgiveness in our lives? Can you live productively in the midst of a life tarnished with unforgiveness? When I was in that place of harboring hatred, anger, and malice in my heart it was an awful place to be in. It was like I was walking around in a fog, just going through life numb. I had no real regard for others feelings; I was just going through the motions.

It was a deep rooted, horrible affliction I was carrying which had me weighed down like a "ton of bricks." I did not realize how bound I was until I was free. God allowed me to understand I had to find a way to release the bondage I was carrying around, totally to Him. I had tried my way to no avail, now God was saying cast your cares on me, because I care for you. (See 1Peter 5:7).

My question to God out of a sincere heart was how? How do I move past the hurt, shame, and guilt? How can I forgive when the pain is so real? This book will cause you to deal with some feelings that have been suppressed for years. It is a one on one encounter with God.
