Speaking from heart to heart, the book represents collection of my poetry written during years 2016-2019. The poetry reflects on my experience of illegal separation with my children and beloved husband, USA military man, due to immigration related and domestic problems. As an immigrant from CIS (former Soviet Union), I was not prepared for the problems that raised in USA during 2008-2016. Raise of homelessness, economical crash, mob law and human deterioration hit most vulnerable population of USA: immigrated elders, women and children of USA citizens. I was persecuted innocent, torn apart from my children and beloved man and had to be on my own for several years. Least of all I wanted the trauma of separation to harm my children. I and my husband kept fighting back, spent thousands of dollars, lost our house, were traumatized and abused by endless persecution impacted our family. Living in poverty, cut out of basic needs, humiliated by the mobs and threats, all I could do sometimes was just pray, breath and write poetry, and fairytales for my family to read and know that I cared. I remember sparing nights in cafeterias, airports, and writing. I lived in homeless shelters, traveled back and force between CIS and America, used pseudonyms, changed my e-mails and phone numbers though always published under my legal names, for my children and husband to hear from me. We are in the process of family reconciliation at the time and recovery. God Bless America, where laws are equal for everyone and no one child knows tragedy of separation from beloved people.
