A Must-Read for all Moms!

Wow! What a beautiful and inspirational book! In an age where there is little support for "stay-at-home" moms and parents of young children feel pressured to get jobs and put their children into daycare, this thoughtful book imparts a valuable message: Mothering and creating a home is special work. Throughout, women share their experiences of what mothering means for them at every stage of a child's development from conception through the school-age years. There are sections that deal with issues, such as breastfeeding, the rhythms of the day, working outside the family, childcare, the growth of love and the special role of grandmothers. Overall, it is a source of wisdom and support for readers, as the author affirms mothering as a valuable womanly art and pathway of development. I highly recommend!
