Mother Teresa: Love Stripes

Few words It was a Sunday afternoon. I was resting in the bedroom. My elder daughter was reading her Sanskrit text book in the drawing room loudly. I was surprised to listen the word mother but rest all was in Sanskrit language, an ancient language in India. In the evening I asked her about the lesson. She told me all about Mother Teresa and her social work. Coincidently in the Sunday Times of India an article about Mother Teresa was published. After reading I felt myself ashamed of being a Human being. It was January, beginning of the new-year I decided to write something about her in few words, as a New Year greetings. To my surprise I got a reply from Mother within few days. Those days she used to get highest number of letters from all over the world. It was a world record. Her blessings are a great treasure to me. The very next year she passed away on 5th September 1997. And before that the Princesses Diana met with an accident on 31st August 1997. And these two incidences forced me to write few lines to respect both the great icons of the world. And it was the birth story of, LOVE STRIPES. ASHOK
