It's a genuinely good book, with genuinely commendable research, and genuinely solid advice. However, while not certainly an objective measurement, I feel the need to mention by the end of this book it felt like a slog, it does really really enjoy making the same point many times via different means (studies, stories, accounts, experts), and while it makes the points seem very solid and well researched it does mean that it can get very verbose (as an example, one of his points is "have a plan" which of course required an abridged history of Genghis Khan and his mongol empire, and realistically, I can't say it added much to the actual point). You may however find that a pro rather than a con, if so, you will certainly love this book.
