This collection of poems is admittedly a writing exercise. Does that diminish its conceit? Yes. Is it still worth your time? Absolutely. It was fortuitous that when I sought out to write a collection of twenty one poems, the sermon being taught was on Obadiah, a book of twenty one verses. There the vision was conceived. A meditation on the twenty one verses of Obadiah as they intersected with the twenty one subsequent days of my life in that moment. And that is all it is: a moment, but our lives are the sum of their moments. That is part of what I wish to express, and I believe it has come through quite well. If you enjoy the likes of E.E. Cummings and Robert Frost, this book is for you.
