Morris will charm you

If your children are beginning to read, this story of Morris the Moose will be a great addition to their reading library. The words and cadence of speech are easy for a new reader to grasp. Morris is charming in a nerdy sort of way. There are little humorous scenarios that will keep a child interested in Morris's journey to find another moose.

Morris the Moose

I bought this book for my grandson. He is beginning to read & he loves books.

Good book

The book Morris the Moose is about a few diffrent types of animals who aren't sure of what they are and what their names are. In the begining of the story one of the characters, a small, brown-haired, curious deer sees a moose coming and points him out and supposely he looks just like her. They go for a walk together and along the way they both come towards a cow and the little young deer claims him for looking exacly like her also. The point of the main character is that she's not sure what kind of animal she is, therfore, she thinks that any animal with a tail, four legs and antlers on their heads are just like her.

A fun book!

Morris meets a cow and a deer and tells them that they are a moose just like him. Of course the cow insists she is a cow, and now the deer tells Morris he is a deer. Oh my! You have to keep reading to find out who wins this arguement. This is an adorable book and one that is easy for children to read or would be enjoyable to have read to them. Cute illustrations are well. Shirley Johnson

Great Book For Learning To Read

This was the first book I learned to read. The words are very easy and not long. Morris will keep you reading to find out what is going to happen next. I totally recommend this book for younger kids and I also recommend it to be one of the first books kids read.
