Morningwood is the story of a couple of days in the life of a small-time private investigator on a fool's errand. Everyone knows him as Morningwood. Just Morningwood. He used to be a real detective, but he stopped being that a while ago and started doing his own thing because he hated working for the man. If you saw his ad on a bus top bench you would know he was the eponymous proprietor of Morningwood Investigations. It's a small agency that specializes in infidelity and insurance fraud. When he's hired to find a man who is supposed to have died in a terrorist attack ten years earlier he sets out to track him down and learns that all is not as it seems.Everyone who knows Morningwood knows that he always has something to say about everybody and everything. Even when he's not saying it, he's thinking it, and he makes no apologies about it. He's been accused of being crass and uncomfortably honest and prone to digression, but he couldn't care less.Morningwood is an irreverent and politically incorrect comedy that you will find yourself laughing at against your better judgment.
