Divided into 11 sects, each poem sketches many wounds into one big picture. It begins with the hum of a foghorn and air on the verge of evolution. Amid the loss of the Point Loma beacon's shine that left the lonely at the mercy of a pre-born Earth. Without a lust to wander, the waves could swallow whole. But a typhoon of stars could change the perspective of any bat in a cave, and that's what it did. In these stanzas and prose I traveled to the bottom of the ocean and into the thick of Sequoias. I formed my feelings into meaning in a mirror laden desert. So even if my voice just confuses, a person in me is one in another too. Because everybody has hurt.
