Hey Good People! My name is Ella Mae Johnson (Redlee). You can probably tell by my name that I'm a country girl. I used to be ashamed of that. I'm not anymore. I come from a little country town in Georgia where most of what I knew came from living in the country. Everything else for me came later in life. I grew up as a very poor child but didn't know how poor I was until I was older. I was a happy child. I didn't start being unhappy until I got older and realized that there was another side to life than what I was used too or knew about in the country. I was very sheltered. This is my story of what I went through in the country; how I got out of the country and the things I went through so I didn't ever have to go back there. Some of it was just greed and it cost me much more than money. I realize now that the country life was such a better way of life. Living in the city is not just overpopulated. In my opinion, it's just downright over rated! My parents did everything they could to teach me right from wrong, but when I left the country, I started living the life of a worldly sinner and I was proud of it at the time because I thought I was cool and nothing was more important to me during that time than my popularity. I got myself involved with a man who was no good for me. We had a very bad marriage. I was abused daily and I put up with it for years for the sake of my children. Please don't judge me when you read my story. I did what I thought was right at the time. My husband used his profession in all the wrong ways. We both had dirty hands in the situation. We took advantage of a good thing and in the end, we both lost.
