This research work is part of the development of innovative biomaterials for therapeutic purposes, in particular biofilms based on natural biopolymers. The main objective is to develop, characterize and evaluate biofilms based on Moringa oleifera extract as an active ingredient, recognized for its antimicrobial and antioxidant properties. These biofilms were synthesized from the biopolymers carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) and starch. To characterize these compounds, FTIR analyses were carried out to identify the molecular interactions between the different constituents. The study also focused on film swelling tests, mechanical stability, and antibacterial activity using targeted microbiological tests. This manuscript highlights an interdisciplinary approach combining materials chemistry, microbiology and sustainable therapeutic innovations.
