Genevieve is right on!

If you have never owned a papillon, you will find this book to be funny. However, if you have a papillon, you will understand exactly where Genevieve is coming from. So many of her tales remind me of one of my three papillons or of one of the rescues that I have fostered. This is a truly great book and is an easy read after a long, hard day at work. My two favorite chapters in the book were the one on marriage, as seen from a canine prospective, and the one on exercise, especially since I am one who dislikes it. Read the book. You will see.

Just Too Funny!

As a dog lover I have to say this book is one of the best books I have read in a long time. I giggled my way through it enjoying every single page and every single observation that our dear little canine friend had to give about these things called, "humans," and the way they live life. After hearing her take on a few things I actually wondered if perhaps she wasn't correct. Scary thought isn't it? The chapter on "Marriage," is just plain outrageous and I wonder if my dogs have the same thoughts as Genevieve does on this subject; they probably do. If you want to read a book that will just bring you pure reading pleasure, this is the one for you. You certainly will smile and giggle a lot, but you just might close this work with a new outlook on just why humans do things the way they do. One never knows. Highly recommended.

Wonderful...5Star

I've personally met Genevieve, not only is she very intelligent and talented, she is a beauty as well. Her new book is hilarious overall. In particular, I enjoyed the chapter on her observations of human marriage. I couldn't stop laughing, yet I couldn't put the book down...it was painful! You will get a clear view of her intelligence and determination when she manipulated Denny off the couch when he was sick with the flu. Bev Post Glenmont, NY

More Memoirs of a Papillon: Diary of a Mad Dog

Another delightful look into Miss Genevieve's world through her eyes. She doesn't miss much and definitely tells it like it is. This little Papillon (7 lbs on a good day...) will have you laughing out loud. If you are owned by or know a Papillon (Ms. Poppyseed and Mr. Ricco, that means you!), prepare to double the laugh quotient! Ms. G. will personally "paw" gift copies, too.

Just when you thought it was safe...

...to let your cat outside, she's back: Genevieve, the chic six-pound Papillon whose bite is way worse than her bark. In her debut (Memoirs of a Papillon: The Canine Guide to Living with Humans without Going Mad), I thought Genevieve had covered it all, but here she truly leaves no bone unturned. The myriad foibles and failings of Homosapiens and Felidae are ruthlessly skewered with a wit and tenacity that leaves the competition chasing their tails. Unabashedly politically-incorrect, she hangs her hapless human - ahem - "owners" out to dry, and takes on all comers with a smirk and a shrug...and one paw tied behind her back. Make friends with her now, before she starts the rough draft for Volume III!
