Welcome to this, my latest collection of mystical trinkets

I think it's quite a varied assortment, this time out: there are stories that are ghosty ("The Lady in the Attic"), stories that are spooky ("Common Courtesy", "Menagerie"), stories that are Twilight-Zoney ("The Cellar", "Spelunker", "Yearbook"), and stories that are outright witchy ("Joy to the World", "The Clouded Hour", "A Quiet Evening at Home", "The Prayer of Baba Yaga"). I hope that doesn't make the whole exercise too schizophrenic

Those are all previously published, and included here to complement the magical theme of this book. But there are also some brand-new pieces - "Suburban Goat's Head", a witchy story, and "Selene, Receding", a tale that celebrates the moon (science fiction, really, but with a magical tint).
