Mooneye is a pro. He flips their identity and hides them from the rete. For a fee. For a very large fee.
It's a good life. Mooneye lives underground in a bunker miles from the nearest city and hidden from the rete. Or so he thinks. When an old girlfriend approaches him to escape her abusive husband, a seemingly normal flip rapidly becomes a plan to destroy the rete. A group determined to free the world from surveillance need Mooneye's help to do it. And that is the last thing he wants to do.
Will Mooneye destroy the rete and the sinister organisation behind it? Or will he disappear himself one last time?
