Montagnard: A JD Cordell Action Thriller

By D.C. Gilbert

A war that began in Vietnam is about to claim another generation.

Former Navy SEAL JD Cordell thought he had left war behind. But when his mother is kidnapped in Vietnam, retirement ends in an instant.

Determined to bring her home, JD reunites with two former Navy SEAL teammates and his loyal military working dog, Ajax. Their desperate rescue mission carries them from Thailand-where an unexpected ally offers help-through the rugged mountains of Laos and into Vietnam, where they join forces with Dish, a fierce Montagnard warrior whose bond with JD's family reaches back to the Vietnam War.

Standing in their way is Trần Nam Tin, a ruthless drug lord whose hatred has endured for decades. To save an innocent life, JD and his team must battle merciless enemies, navigate hostile terrain, and confront a legacy of betrayal that refuses to stay buried.

As time runs out, JD discovers that some promises never fade, some families are forged by more than blood, and some wars never truly end.

Perfect for fans of Jack Carr, Brad Taylor, Mark Greaney, and Don Bentley, Montagnard is an action-packed military thriller combining authentic special operations action, unforgettable characters, and a powerful story of family, loyalty, and sacrifice.
