How could shopping for a vintage dress lead to finding love with a monster?

Only two weeks away from Christmas, Fenix is enjoying one of her favourite things: shopping. At least, this time she's shopping for herself instead of one of her clients. Walking through the vintage store, she finds the perfect dress. It's like the delicate emerald ensemble was made just for her. But when she tries it on and steps out of the changing room, she steps right into a battlefield teeming with dark green monsters who tower over her.

Immediately, the orcs think she's a spy from the enemy. After all, they've been fighting the humans in their realm for generations. Although meeting their captain is supposed to be terrifying, fear is the last thing Fenix feels when she lays eyes on Miannas. His darkened gaze tells her that he feels the same. But rationality says they must unravel the mystery of her arrival and their attraction before exploring anything. If only fate made things so simple...
