Monkey in the Rocket

By David Pocock

MONKEY IN THE ROCKET

A brave little monkey. A gigantic rocket. And one incredible journey into space

Meet Sam and Bam, two curious monkeys with a very big dream. When the Global Space Agency announces that it needs one brave monkey astronaut, the friends get the opportunity of a lifetime.

But becoming an astronaut isn't easy

Sam and Bam must take on a series of exciting astronaut challenges designed to test their fitness, balance, courage, concentration, and ability to stay calm. They climb, balance, spin, float, and even face the roar of a noisy rocket simulator.

Sam keeps trying his best through every challenge. And when Bam discovers that some of the tests are harder for him, he shows that being a good friend can be just as important as being the one chosen for the mission.

Then comes the big announcement:

Sam will be the first monkey to fly into space

Dressed in his astronaut suit and ready for adventure, Sam climbs aboard the towering rocket. The countdown begins...

10... 9... 8...

WHOOOOSH

Sam blasts high above the clouds and into space, where he sees the beautiful blue Earth far below. But getting into space is only half the adventure-Sam still has to make it safely home
