Monster was the "OG" for the Florida chapter of the Long Beach Rollin' 20's Crips, he immediately took a liking to young Jamal and school him in the art of pimpin' and introduced him to the Crip lifestyle. EXCERPT FROM CHAPTER ONE: The first pimp I can remember seeing was a white man, he was dressed like a preacher with his hair slicked back. It was around 4pm on a Saturday, my aunt Polly and I was enjoying a walk around the block when all of a sudden, I heard a loud SMACK Followed by " I'm sorry daddy", I looked to my left to see this man who resembled Tom Cruise dragging a young black woman down the street by her hair. At this time I was too young to understand what I saw, but what I saw penetrated my soul. I couldn't tell the difference between a pastor and a pimp, and still to this day it's hard to distinguish the two.
