This book began with the objective of revealing how I made the journey from a minimal starting-account value to over one trillion dollars in profits in my Think-or-Swim Paper-Money trading account, basically using just a cell phone to place orders. Along this journey I discovered ways to improve on my original method, which increased profits and also shortened the process. What originally took nearly three years to accomplish most recently was accomplished in three days or less. The Money-Catcher Strategy focused on using Skinny-Butterfly and/or Skinny-Condor Combination option trades employing SPX and NDX (with European Style options) as the underlying assets. It was discovered that for high-priced actively-traded stocks and ETFs, higher-order option spreads and combinations could be traded for a credit both upon trade entry and upon trade exit. Limit orders were used requesting a small credit to buy and a small credit to sell. These orders usually filled for better than the amounts requested. With no negative impact to the trading account buying power, virtually unlimited trade orders could be placed. Whenever possible, no open positions were held overnight Experimenting with various option combination strategies led to the discovery of Box Spreads with " locked-in" value. It became possible to capture this "locked-in" value using overnight GTC limit-sell orders. Arbitrage probably best explained the process leading to my trading success. Eventually, I stumbled upon Balanced-Skewed Skinny-Butterfly and Balanced-Skewed Skinny-Condor Combination trades, which elevated trading profits exponentially. A simple request to buy for $0 often filled for significant credit (averaging $100 or more). Sell orders for $0 usually filled for $100 credit more.
