Favole tackles the difficult terrain of a high school shooting incident. Rego is a close friend of the shooter and a kid in deep trouble. He's stuck, forced to relive the worst day of his life, via a wormhole in time, until he unravels the situation and a series of mixed emotions. With jazzy prose and a tight inside viewpoint of a troubled teen, this novel will captivate readers.

One of the best stories in Ink.

Imagine that your friend has just 'gone columbine' in your school, and has left the once crowded hallways behind as a bullet riddled warzone with students dying on the blood splattered floor. Imagine though, if you could go back in time to stop this from happening? How would you try to prevent the shooting? What if your pyshco friend went back in time with you? This is the general idea of Monday Redux. It is by far one of the best books I have read. You know when you start to read a book and you can't put it down? Well this is that type of book, and soon in the middle of it you'll act like an addict, not being able to keep it away from you, or to stop reading it. As soon as I finished reading it four of my friends read it, and they loved it. This was odd because they rarley ever read, yet this book kept them on the edge of their seat as they read and the plot navigated through its twists and turns. One of the reasons I believe why this book captured my friends attention was due to the fact that school shootings are topics that are on all of us High Schooler's minds. Ever since Columbine people have always thought about, what ifs. What if the shooters weren't made fun of? What if the SWAT team moved into the school? This book hits the nail right on the head because it writes about a 'what if' situation about a school shooting, and conveys it in a suspensful story. Most people who read Monday Redux can relate to the main character, Rego, because he is a normal guy thrown into a scarring situation. The writing style of this book is utterly amazing. When you read about the shooting taking place you can just invision it happening at your school, giving the reader a disturbed feeling. This and the edge of your seat suspense makes the book a story that you can't put down.To sum it up: This book is Godlike. You must do anything you can to read it. Search your local book store for this book like starving person foarging for food. Its really that good.
