Attention at-home moms!

If you're a stay-at-home mom or plan to be, read this book. It's a sweet, funny, honest take on a day in the life of a stay-at-home mom. Even a decade or so after its release, "A Mom's Life" still aptly captures the widely swinging emotions of a modern woman who has dedicated her days to taking care of two small kids. Grody's humor is just wonderful, especially when she talks about sleep deprivation, wondering how do you know when your day ends if you never go to sleep.Find a copy of this book for your sister, friend, yourself. After a day of scraping peanut butter off the door handles, you deserve a good read like "A Mom's Life."

A must for any mom!

I listened to this on audiobook when my son was a six-month-old baby, and I LOVED it!!!! It totally captured the hectic pace of life with small children! It was VERY funny and made me laugh out loud. I can't imagine how the other customer who revewed it could POSSIBLY find it negative - it's obvious that Grody adores her children and loves staying home with them. She is especially moved and touched by her two-year-old's discoveries and observations But even the most adoring stay-at-home mom (as I am) still faces those hectic, stressful days when the toddler is pouring oatmeal on the dog while the 7-year-old suddenly remembers that he had promised that his mom would bake cookies for the bake sale, and hey, Mom, they're due today! This audiobook was funny, enjoyable, and very true to life. I would recommend it for ANY mom.
