Momma's Recipes: From My Heart to Yours

I have always enjoyed cooking for others. I was inspired to cook by my mother of Cuban-American descent who was raised in the South, and often followed her around the kitchen. I believed she was the best cook in the whole world ... from her Southern-fried chicken, to Corn-bread, to Collard greens, to Frijoles Negro y Arroz con Pollo, to Sweet Potato pie, and the many dishes in between! Over the years, I enjoyed baking and cooking for fellowships, weddings, family and church gatherings. Family and friends have come to enjoy my Eggplant Lasagna, Cinnamon Rolls, Zeppoles, and other home-made delicacies! My husband encouraged me to write down the recipes I enjoyed from my childhood and have enjoyed cooking for him and our four sons over the years. It has truly been a labor of love, from my heart to yours.
