All they wanted was access: some to a person, some to a place, and some to the most private, personal belongings of strangers, the intimate treasures they had no right even touching, let alone stealing.
If no one would ever catch you-if you knew without a shadow of a doubt that you were completely safe in your snooping and secure in your theft, just how far would you go? How much of a neighbor's home would you take the chance to search? How much of a family member's privacy would you simply brush off as irrelevant, all to satisfy your own terribly insatiable curiosity? How much of a friend's privacy would you dismiss? Or a lover's?None of the people in this story planned to go as far as they eventually did, but once the door was open, once they were faced with the choice to go forward or go back, each one walked forward. They took the opportunities when they got them, they took chances when chance was on their side, and one by one, they each discovered much more than they ever thought was possible.
