Moments in Time: A collection of poems by William J Paley

The following collection of poems, written by William J Paley, fondly known as Wilbur to friends and family, was brought together for the occasion of his 80th birthday on 14th March 2021.

Most of the poetry was written during the period 1995-2020, although some of the works are older. Many celebrate his life in and around the Skipton area, on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, and his love of Yorkshire and its landscape. Some are dedicated to his children and his wife Carole, whom he married in 1995. The family home remains in the village of Embsay, just outside Skipton in North Yorkshire.
