In her early twenties, Molly knows that she does not have an average life. Diagnosed with sever schizophrenia, and a myriad of other conditions, she has had medical treatment her entire life, allowing her live nearly independent. Trustin entirely in her loyal father-figure friend, Dr Matthias, Molly strives to follow his instructions but cannot understand why they do not make her happy or fulfilled. After one unfortunate morning at work, Molly's employer demands a new evaluation, which threatens to place her in a psychiatric ward if she fails. Molly runs into the new neighbor on her apartment floor and recognizes his kind and unscientific behavior towards her. Never experiencing this connection a person before, she is enthralled and joins him for adventures she would never dare on her own. As the neighbor, Amias, finds himself catching feelings, Molly is confused, unsure how to even identify between her synesthesia and her own emotions. Each new experience rips her from her routine and Dr Matthias steps in to seperate them.
