Molly Mullett Saves the Kingdom & Enchants 3 year old

Mr. Mullett wanted a boy, not a sneezly, wheezly, sniveling girl. Molly sets off on an adventure to rid the kingdom of a maurading ogre while Mrs. Mullett stays home, quietly sewing and knowing. Molly is clever, and her biggest obstacle is that the king and her father think she can't do because she is a mere girl.My three year old pre-reader loves this book, because he can finish the rhymes. There's enough repetition of words (without getting boring) for him to "help" read.Molly is brave and isn't afraid to fight the ogre, but there is no explcit violence. Molly's mom quietly helps Molly on her quest.
