The best book for modern amd/intel instruction sets.

Better than the Hyde book for one simple reason: this book juxtaposes masm with nasm. Hyde claims that nasm is not commonplace so it’s not covered in his book. But in the world of cyber security where assembly language is crucial, nasm is commonplace, especially for malware developers. The language in Modern x86 Assembly Language Programming is excellent, and it’s straight to the point, and it explains why the book is structured and organized in the manner chosen by the author, which makes comprehension of the material much more approachable for a beginner.
