This is a super text on modern history; the integration of art and cultural history makes it particularly interesting and engaging This description may be from another edition of this product.
The author's name was Harriette Flory, NOT "J" Flory. It was co-authored by Sam Jenike. This 1988 textbook was a huge success in junior colleges and upper-level high school classrooms. The state of Texas adopted the book for its education system for several years. Dr. Flory had an incredible mind. She possessed an extraordinary perspective of the world, in the past and present, and lived and breathed history. Unfortunately, Dr. Flory died in 1989.
