Modern Bible Stories: NUMBERS: An Easy Read Companion to Understanding Scripture

By Zoe Powell

MODERN BIBLE STORIES, NUMBERS

Numbers follows God's people through the wilderness, but for many readers, understanding every passage and its meaning can sometimes feel difficult.

Modern Bible Stories, Numbers, is an easy-read companion created to help young and old readers understand the Book of Numbers more clearly, while keeping the Bible open alongside them.

Journey through all thirty-six chapters of Numbers, from the census at Sinai and the ordering of the tribes, through the wilderness complaints, the spies sent into Canaan, Korah's rebellion, the bronze serpent, Balaam and his donkey, the second census, and the final preparation of a new generation ready to enter the Promised Land.

Each chapter explains what is happening in clear modern language, supported by verse evidence from Scripture, helping readers follow the people, events, warnings, promises, judgments, and lessons found throughout Numbers.

This book is not intended to replace, rewrite, or overwrite the Word of God. Scripture remains the authority. This companion is simply a helping hand, encouraging readers to open their Bible, examine the verses for themselves, and grow in their understanding of God's Word.

Numbers is the fourth book in the Modern Bible Stories series, an easy-read journey through the books of the Bible, created to make Scripture easier to follow, one book and one chapter at a time.

Read the Bible alongside it, explore the evidence, understand the journey, and return again and again to the Lord's Word.
