This collection of 40 model boats is unique. I have collected professional models from authentic plans, pond boats and artisan models from over 17 countries. In my work, I have gone to 35 countries where I was able to find and buy these models as well as vacations in Europe, Canada, and the U.S. Models come from Albania, Belize, Canada (Quebec, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland & Labrador), Chile, Colombia, Croatia, Egypt, England and Scotland, France, Guatemala, Holland, Kenya, Macedonia, St. Vincent and Tobago, Syria, Far East Russia and the USA..With two exceptions (Lobster Boat and Trap Skiff), all of the models are sailboats or non-motorized craft. Photos and descriptions are included for each model. They are truly works of art.
