Scott lives for gaming. His life is so mundane and uneventful that he doesn't feel like he's really living, so much as existing. The worlds he experiences with his friends in video games give him so much more joy than the pointless Nine-to-Five life he leads. However, while lamenting these facts, an arbitrary wish is overheard by an unseen entity who kidnaps Scott and his friends and spirits them away to an alien world. Now, on Mobion, Scott and his friends must assume new identities and learn to start their lives over on a mysterious planet that functions like a game and is watched over by every god from every religion both known and unknown. In this barbaric world where the common sense of Earth no longer applies, and fantastical races and creatures exist, can Scott survive? Or will he meet a nightmarish end and be the reason his friends die too.
