After a friend's father was diagnosed with brain cancer, potentially from twenty years of cell phone use, filmmaker and community activist Kevin Kunze became fascinated with cell phone radiation, public health and their intersection. Featuring interviews with expert researchers, mobile phone industry representatives, and prominent politicians, MOBILIZE illuminates how the industry's economic and political influence can corrupt public health in myriad ways. Interviewees include leading politicians such as Gavin Newsome, Lt. Governor of California and former Mayor of San Francisco, Dennis Kucinich, former U.S. House Representative who introduced a national bill requiring safety labels to be put on cell phones, and California Senator Mark Leno, the author of two Senate bills requiring cell phone retailers to disclose safety information; influential researchers such as Jonathan Samet M.D.,, M.S., Chairman of the Int'l Agency for Research on Cancer and appointed to the National Cancer Advisory Board by President Obama, David Katz, M.D., M.P.H., Founding Director of Yale University's Prevention Research Center, and David Servan-Schreiber, M.D., Ph.D, a French physician, neuroscientist and author of "Anti-Cancer: A New Way of Life". Additional interviewees include Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, British billionaire and cell phone safety advocate Richard Branson, Professor Lawrence Lessig, director of the Edmond J.
