The MKS Toolkit is a well-known package of utilities that give you UNIX/Linux commands on a Windows/DOS computer. This is the user's guide, and presumably it came with the software. I picked up the book from a library giveaway. But the book alone is worth reading, because it's a very readable tutorial on the UNIX/Linux shell environment, AWK (the just-right text parsing language), and vi (the editor everyone hates to love). Sure you can get all these tutorials online, but a paperback is easier on the eyes. Besides, you shouldn't spend all your time online!
