Mistaken Identity: The Me I Did Not See

Three years ago, I packed my bags to go on a trip of a lifetime. As I began to pack, I had to make decisions as to what garments I was willing to take along with me. As women we are known for overpacking, we tend to take more than we need. When I called the airline to purchase my ticket, I choose a one-way flight, because I had no plans on ever going back. When the customer service agent asked me where I would like to travel, I replied and told him to a place called Wholeness. He proceeded to tell me that the ticket was non-refundable and while on the flight I will experience severe turbulence, storms, and an unexpected arrival time. I took some time to think things over, and as I was lost in thought I heard the agent ask me if I would like to secure my ticket. When I looked at my surroundings I responded and replied yes, I would like to secure my ticket. When the day finally arrived and I boarded the plane I made a vow to never go back to what I was leaving behind. Although I may experience storms and turbulence, I am determined to make it to my destination I was determined to be made whole.
