Judith's star has risen in the theater world to where she directs the state-sponsored company, Roughrider Stage, in Bismarck. She's hoping to mount a production of Shakespeare's play, Pericles, and keen to set it among Native tribes along the Missouri River in a time before the arrival of Europeans-if only she can put together funding. The play is very personal to her, as her husband's early life parallels Shakespeare's hero in powerful ways.
