A Little Better than Average for a Sci-fi Novel

Mission: Tori is a relatively-quick read, quite enjoyable and intriguing with one particular twist which leaves the main character - and the reader - thoroughly confused and in complete mental chaos. It is a good tale, but climaxes rather quickly and in a manner reminiscent of watching a low-budget final confrontation trying to dazzle the viewer with a lot of firepower. The final paragraphs are so vague in meaning that a sequel is almost required since the novel does not feel "completed." Overall, this is really just a little better than average for a sci-fi novel.
