American Embassy Security Officer Brooks Keller and Marine Gunnery Sergeant Todd Walker are on assignment in the South of France. Keller and the gunny are part of a team providing support to the U. S. Secret Service detail protecting the wife of the Vice President of the United States. Keller is assured the assignment is routine. He suspects otherwise. A kidnapping confirms his suspicions.
