Hoping to recreate the atmosphere of their prior romantic vacation in an over-the-water bungalow in Bora Bora, Grant takes Stephanie to anotherB over-the-water bungalow in Bocas del Toro, Panama. He envisions relaxation and romance in an idyllic tropical setting. What they find at their destination is quite the opposite. A run-down tiny resort with no beach, no facilities, no amenities, no clean towels and linens, and little hot water. As Stephanie puts it, they are not on a vacation but serving a sentence. The vacation goes from bad to frightening when Stephanie disappears during dinner at a Bocas Town restaurant. Grant finds himself alone in a third-world country where he does not speak the language, has no friends and can get no help from the authorities. Stephanie is nowhere to be found in this tiny town on a small island. Grant, a high achieving, take charge man, finds himself frustrated and virtually helpless as time passes with no ransom demand and no clue as to Stephanie's whereabouts. Can she be found or is she floating at the bottom of the Caribbean?
