Edie Larson has hit rock bottom. Matt Whittaker has always wondered about his mother who left when he was five years old. Shortly after turning thirty, he became aware of a large amount of money that she had saved for him over the past twenty-five years. This re-ignites his desire to find her, and a friend puts him in touch with Edie.
