This is Coyote's fifth collection of stores and I can tell you that she is a master storyteller. This time she looks at gender in her stories and what a great person to do so. There are thirty stories in this slim volume of 142 pages which means that you can read a story on a break or read several a day. The danger is that once you do you will want to continue reading. I always get tickled by the titles that Coyote uses and this collection is no exception--"Some of My Best Friends are Rednecks", "Straight Teens Talk Queer", "Objects in the Mirror are Queerer Than They Appear" and "Boner Preservation Society" to name a few. Pick up a copy and be glad you did.
