My Favorite as a Child!

I have loved Miss Spider books ever since I was a child and was happy to pass it on to my daughter. She is 2 and is awestruck by the beautiful paintings and the rhythm of the words. The controversy over Miss Spider's Wedding and Little Miss Spider only confuses me. I can see how a 30-somethings Mom finds Miss Spider's Wedding wrong, the whole 'men are evil and will hurt you'. These concepts are not understood by a toddler! What I saw as a child was that Spiderus covets Miss Spider's belongings and wants them for himself. That true love conquers all. I did not have nightmares nor did I descend into a black hazy spiral of self-destruction.

If you are even a little bit into miss spider you must have this collection!!!! It is beautiful and fun and it teaches as well, a winning combo!!! We display this book on the top of our library shelf and never get tired of reading it together!!!

My boys love this book

All the wonderful miss spider stories in one book! The illustrations are fantastic and the rhymes are cute and funny. Makes for a great gift for kids anywhere from 12 months on up!
