TV Series 2012–2015 TV-PG 34 episodes.
I will not go through each episode, as that is what you are purchasing the series for. Each episode has an introductory write-up. Then, of course, it is a formula (hopefully the kind of formula you will like). We get introduced to the characters and a standard mystery with a couple of red herrings tossed in. It cannot get too complicated because the mystery has to be displayed, investigated, and wrapped up in one short episode. So do not feel cheated if you guess ahead of time, as it comes from watching all the other murder mysteries first.
The actors are competent. However, it is interesting to see that our prime mystery gal can be so acrobatic at times. You may recognize her as Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd (2006 TV movie).
I have all the series. Now I have to read the books. I hear, as usual, they are better than the TV presentation; however, we will see.
For those with DVD interests, there is a Blu-ray version, but I watched the standard DVD that was just fine on the big screen. We get the obligatory a-d-v-e-r-t-i-s-e-m-e-n-t for all the other Acorn series.
